Graphic Design with Mad 4 Design
If you need corporate branding or are looking at refreshing your image, we can help! In addition to website design, we also provide a complete graphic design service. Scratch designing anything from a Business Card, Letterhead, Compliment Slip, Flyers to a Full Colour Brochure. Below are a few examples of a Speedway Programme Cover, an Invoice and a Single Colour Flyer.
Simple or complex is no problem, every job is custom designed and proofed normally via emailing a PDF file, once the final proof has been signed off we can either arrange for printing to be carried out at our associated trade printers or supply you with Hi-Resolution PDF files on disc ready for your own printer to produce your print job.
Artwork Costs
These are based on straightforward re-setting of the job. For instance: you may have designed your own business card, letterhead, compliment slips etc. in Word, Publisher, Excel, etc. We cannot produce directly from these file formats due to a couple of reasons.
1. Graphics/logos embedded in these files are low-res (this keeps the file sizes down) @ 72dpi. For best quality print we require 300dpi, which is why we ask for the graphic/logo to be supplied separately in its native hi-res state.
2. Most people who are not familier with print production normally supply their artwork as 1-up, (a single card on a sheet). We need to plan cards at least 4-up (or more, depending on quantity required). This 4-up layout then needs accurate crop/trim marks placed in position. Compliment slips need planning 3-up with the appropriate crop marks.
If you are providing print-ready artwork then please ignore the following artwork costs.

As mentioned earlier, these artwork costs relate to straightforward resetting and assume a suitable (where required) hi-res logo has been supplied. If you think your artwork may entail more work than this, e.g. your logo needs redrawing to a suitable standard, then please do not hesitate to contact us for a quotation.
If you are not sure whether your artwork is print-ready or needs a little work then just email a copy and we will get back to you with an answer.
If you are supplying artwork to us then this can be accepted on a variety of media/software, please check the versions that we can work to, they include:

You can supply your own files in the following programmes; Coreldraw, Adobe Photoshop, In-design, Illustrator, Pagemaker, Acrobat Reader, Quark Express, Macromedia Freehand, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Netobjects Fusion, Paintshop Pro, Microsoft Frontpage and Word. There are also a few other specialist programmes that we use in conjunction with the above. Please check version compatibility prior to submitting your files and always remember to include all fonts.
Should you wish to supply your own files for any project you can do so by saving to Zip 100 disks, or CD. You can also email files to us once your files have been submitted normal procedure is to check your files for compatibility and colour separation.
We don’t undertake to check supplied files for spelling errors so please check your files before submitting. We supply PDF proofs (Adobe Acrobat) by email, mono laser or colour ink jet proofs would normally be posted for checking and signing off prior to printing or publishing.
